Our Mixology Philosophy
American Cocktail Co. began as an award-winning mixer brand. The site now translates that legacy into a sharper home-bar resource built around clarity, not clutter.
Founded in 2012 by Christopher Wirth and renowned mixologist Massimiliano Matté, American Cocktail Co. began with a simple mission: to turn the evolution of mixology into a revolution by making incredibly unique, bar-quality flavors available to everyone. Our original line of all-natural juice blends, including the award-winning Smokin' Margarita and the Spicy Ginger Mule, found their way into top bars and homes across the country.
As the craft cocktail movement matured, we recognized that home bartenders needed more than just great ingredients; they needed the knowledge to use them. Today, we focus entirely on education so readers can understand flavor balance, master the right techniques, and invest in tools that genuinely improve the drinks they make.
Start with the ratios
We break drinks down by balance and structure so you understand why a cocktail works before memorizing it.
Buy fewer better tools
Our gear guides stay focused on the handful of pieces that noticeably improve consistency and feel in the glass.
Build a flexible home bar
Use our buying guides to stock bottles, mixers, and tools that support multiple drink styles instead of one-off novelty builds.
